About Us
CADEK
was formed in October 2000. CADEK is an acronym of the
owner's initials and surname, CA DE Klerk.
Early days...
We started the business by importing fine stemware from
Germany. We had to advertise our products and created
our own publication in which we could promote our special
range of stemware to potential clients. Our first publication
was born and we now publish various titles under this
brand. In 2007 we started a second business, Distinctive
Brands, who now focus on handling the importation,
marketing and distribution of our stemware.
Focus on publishing, exhibitions
and design...
Our interest and passion in marketing, publishing and
entertainment grew stronger by the day. We soon discovered
the synergy between publishing and exhibitions, selling
advertising space and selling exhibition space. In
2002 we published our first contracted publication and
also organised and staged our first major exhibition.
Our

Today
we publish annual tourism publications. We sell the advertising
space and produce the final product for our clients.
Our
exhibition portfolio includes exhibitions such as the
ARC Bien Donné Farmers Expo (2002, 2003, 2004 &
2008), the Stellenbosch Wine Festival (2003 - 2009), the
WineBiz Suppliers Expo and the Cape Country Picnic Festivals.
We offer our expertise through an array of in-house communication
to our clients, advertisers and exhibitors.
Our
in-house design team produce advertising, brochures, annual
reports and many other items, including print management.
